i did my first real interview today for one of my last projects for class. i interviewed bre for a personality profile. it went really good, and i definitely learned more about her and her family. it was really cool to hear about how her and her siblings have a great relationship. bre is such a strong person, and has a true heart of gold. cheesey i know, but so true.
“i really need to stick to eating healthier, and eating in proportion. i’m not huge by any means, but i feel gross when eat like that. ugh. i’m over eating like a cow. and i’m over feeling like one too…in the thighs at least.”—thanks for reading the rant.
“A ballet dancer goes onstage on a given night, in a specific theater, in a specific ballet and executes, in a specific fraction of musical time a movement that is already past just as it appears. And it takes far more than 10,000 hours of practice and repetition to make this movement exquisite, worthy. A dancer’s entire career consists of these moments of non-existence; they are not even fleeting, they are, somehow, never there at all, a shadow in someone else’s mind at best.”—Toni Bentley (via quote-book)
Just got disheartening news (preliminary only): Daisy is looking at only a 30-50% cure rate with chemo. Is. 41:10
My heart is overwhelmed right now. I KNOW that God has His hand in this. To see the bigger picture and to understand the legacy that this little girl is, needs to be the hope that we have. Our God is BIGGER, stronger, wiser.
“so, i am really glad and happy and excited that TWO friends are coming home this week… JOSH and ALISHA! i miss the crap outta them, and really, i can’t wait. they both mean so much to me, and i love them both. lord, please give them safe travels and please make the time that we get to spend with each other feel like a really long time.”—p.s. they are coming from two different places. alish isn’t married to josh, silly.
