Welcome To The Jungle

A peek in my brain. Careful, it's a jungle in there. mirandanatalie@ymail.com

All the girls. My prayer when my dad started up his church was for the Lord to bring me friends at church since none of my friends went there and most of the people at church were either a lot older, or a lot younger.
It wasn’t until like maybe 2 years or so in that we all just sort of migrated together. Taylor (the white girl who swears she’s black) has always gone to the church, but we weren’t that close before. The Lord has His timing and it was perfect for us to really become close.
But once I started hanging out with Sam and Serina, which was about eight months or so ago, I just hit it off so well and fast with them. I know it was the Lord because I never open up to people I just meet. Sometimes it can be awkward being the pastor’s kid because you never really know people’s intentions and sometimes people just have ridic expectations for you. But not with them. I love people who are raw and just tell it like it is and aren’t afraid to be themselves. That’s how they are. And I never feel like they expect me to be some holier than thou person just because my dad teaches from the pulpit on Sundays and Thursdays.
I’m blessed by the three of them and thank God for adding them into my life. I love friendships where the Lord is the center and you know it was Him who brought you together because otherwise you wouldn’t really have anything in common. Like the laws of science (or whatever) say, opposites definitely attract. View high resolution
